Dalam pemasangan hard disk yang baru, langkah berhati-hati perlu sentiasa ada kerana jika berkalu kecuaian seperti menjatuhkan hard disk mebuatkan hard disk tergores, ini akan merosakkan komponen tersebut.

Selain kecuaian di atas, satu lagi perkara yang dapat merosakkan hard disk ialah apabila hard disk sedang beroperasi, kita menggerakkannya dengan kuat, ini juga kan merosakkan hard disk.

Hard disk yan memunyai 'Bad Sektor' mungkin harus ditukar kerana ia tidak dapat menerima data dengan baik sekiranya terdapat data yang hendak digunakan di kawasan 'Bad Sektor'.

Macromedia Dreamweaver 4

Macromedia Dreamweaver includes a variety of resources to help me learn the program quickly and become proficient in creating my own Web sites and pages. These resources include a printed book, online help pages, Guided Tour movies, a tutorial, and interactive lessons. I can also find regularly updated tips, TechNotes, examples, and information at the Dreamweaver Support Center on Macromedia's Web site. Start by viewing the Guided Tour movies to learn about Dreamweaver features. Next, complete the Dreamweaver tutorial. Finally, try the Dreamweaver lessons to learn how to accomplish specific tasks in Dreamweaver.

The Dreamweaver tutorial is the best place to start if I want to get some hands-on experience creating pages in Dreamweaver. By working through the tutorial, I will learn how to create a sample Web site with some of Dreamweaver's most useful and powerful features. The tutorial is in both Dreamweaver Help and the Using Dreamweaver book. I can also download a printable version of the tutorial at Macromedia's Web site.
The tutorial includes sample pages and assets (images and Macromedia Flash files) to help I get started developing a Web site.

Memasang CPU

Cara-cara untuk memasang CPU

• Letakkan zip soket di atas motheboard
  
• Jangan kunci lagi soket tersebut dan menekan batang soket sehingga boleh didirikan ke sudut 90
• CPU dipastikan berada di atas soket yang mempunyai lubang untuk disatukan dengan tapak CPU
• Semasa meletak CPU ke dalam soket haruslah dilakukan dengan berhati-hati sehingga ia muat pada tempatnya.
• Skru CPU tersebut ke dalam soket dengan menolak batang soket turun dan ketatkan. Akan ada bunyi 'klik' apabila ia sudah ketat di kawasan bawah soket tersebut.
• Kemudian, kipas CPU dipasang pada atas soket tersebut, fungsi kipas tersebut adalah bertujuan untuk menyejukkan CU tersebut.
• Pastikan sambungan kabel kipas CPU adalah betul supaya kipas dapat berfungsi.

Nvu is a complete Web Authoring System for Linux Desktop users as well as Microsoft Windows and Macintosh users to rival programs like FrontPage and Dreamweaver. Nvu (pronounced N-view, for a "new view") makes managing a web site a snap. Now anyone can create web pages and manage a website with no technical expertise or knowledge of HTML.

Nvu (pronounced N-view, for a "new view") is an Open Source project started by Linspire, Inc. Linspire is committed exclusively to bringing Desktop Linux to the masses, and realized that an easy-to-use web authoring system was needed for Linux to continue its expansion to the Desktop. Linspire contributes significant capital, expertise, servers, bandwidth, marketing, and other resources to guarantee the continuation and success of the Nvu project.

Linspire is pleased to have been able to contract with Daniel Glazman from Disruptive Innovations to be the lead developer and maintainer for the Nvu project. Hello

Hello is a new program from Picasa that lets you instantly send dozens of pictures to your friends and talk about them.Hello also lets you publish pictures to your Blogger blog.
Getting started takes two steps. First you pick a username, and then you download the program. We have you create an account first so you don't have to come back here again after you download.

Picasa

Picasa is software that helps me instantly find, edit and share all the pictures on myr PC. Every time I open Picasa, it automatically locates all my pictures (even ones I forgot I had) and sorts them into visual albums organized by date with folder names I will recognize. I can drag and drop to arrange my albums and make labels to create new groups. Picasa makes sure my pictures are always organized.

Picasa also makes advanced editing simple by putting one-click fixes and powerful effects at my fingertips. And Picasa makes it a snap to share my pictures – I can email, print photos home, make gift CDs, instantly share via Hello™, and even post pictures on my own blog.

To download Picasa

1. Click Free Download to start the download. This will open the File Download screen:

2. Click Run/Open.

3. The Picasa software will install. If the Picasa software doesn’t open, use the desktop shortcut or go to the Start Menu > All Programs > Picasa 2 > Picasa 2.

Cipta Profile Diri

Membuat profile diri dengan menggunakan Microsoft Word sebagai HTML untuk di masukkan ke dalam laman web sebagai home page.
- Profile diri yang telah siap sebagai html di edit dengan menggunakan web shell dalam akaun jazz/kojiey dalam
angelfire.com.
- Index.html yang telah sedia ada dalam web shell di edit dengan profile diri yang telah saya cipta itu.
- Profile di buka dengan menggunakan note book dan di 'copy' kemudian 'paste' pada Create Text Block untuk menggantikan index.html
- Klik Preview untuk preview hasil kerja.
- Setelah siap semua klik Save.

Jenis-jenis Kabel

Mengenali jenis-jenis kabel.

• Kabel bekalan kuasa bewarna kuning, merah, putih, biru dan hitam berfugsi membekalkan kuasa elektrik pada peralatan komputer.
• Kabel data 20 jalur berfungi menyambungkan soket IDE 1 dengan pemacu cakera keras dan soket IDE 2 dengan CD-ROM.
• Kabel audio 4 jalur berfungsi menyambungkan soket audio pada CD-ROM ke 'Sound Card' atau motherboard.

CD-ROM

Memasang CD-ROM.

• Pemasangan CD-ROM yang baru perlu berhati-hati jika tersalah pasang kabel, komputer tidak akan menemui CD-ROM.
• Pastikan kabel IDE dan bekalan kuasa dipasang dengan etul dan rapat dengan sumber yang diperlukan oleh CD-ROM.
• Kemudian, penyambung plug disambungkan ke CD-ROM drive yang betul.
• Bagi kabel audio pastikan ia berada di kedudukan yang tidak terbalik kerana ia akan menjejaskan suara yang dikeluarkan.

IDE Kabel

Pemasangan IDE kabel perlulah dipasang dengan betul bagi meghidupkan komputer. Tetapi harus diambil perhatian semasa memasang IDE kabel kerana tersalah pasang komponen tersebut tidak akan daat beroperasi.

• Jika diperhatikan terdapat satu garisan yang berwarna merah yang terdapat di IDE kabel. Ini menandakan bahawa ia adalah pin nombor 1.
• Pin nombor 1 dapat dikesan di mainboard kerana terdapat nombor di bahagian enymbung di mainboard dan dapat dikesan ia perlu dipasang di bahagian kanan apabila ia dilihat dari penyambung yang mempunyai potongan di atas.
• Penyambungan ini sangat penting kerana jika tersilap pasang akan menyebabkan komponen yang menggunakan IDE kabel tidak dapat berfungsi.

Hard Disk

Didapati jika sesebuah komputer terlalu bayak program yang di install akan menyebabkan hard disknya penuh.

Dua cara untuk mengatasiya ialah :
1. Membuang program yang tidak di perlukan.
2. Menambah hard disk yang baru.

Hard disk baru dapat dipasang dengan berhati-hati dengan membuka cover CPU dan diletakan di bawah floppy drive.

Hard disk perlu dipasang dengan berhati-hati kerana ia mudah rosak jika terjatuh.

RAM

Mendapat maklumat mengenai RAM
RAM berfungsi menghantar maklumat yang di kehendaki seberapa cepat yang mungkin bergantung kepada kepantasannya. Contoh, RAM 256MB lebih cepat atau 1 kali ganda berbanding 128MB. RAM yan berlainan jenis mempunyai kepantasan yang berbeza. Contoh, DDR RAM lebih pantas 1 kali ganda berbanding SDRAM. RAM agak sensitif pada bahagian yang bewarna emas di tapak. Sekiranya terdapat kesan debu ia dapat menjejaskan fungsinya.

Persekitaran PMCC

Hari pertama di PMCC bagi menjalankan Latihan Industri.
Pengurus, Mr.Stenley Poh merangkan kepada saya mengenai persekitaran PMCC ini.
- Persekitaran PMCC lebih kepada Cyber Cafe yang menyediakan perkhidmatan melayari internet, menjual eksesori dan sotware, penyelenggaraan komputer dan perkhidmatan fax.
- Terdapat dua pekerja bagi mengawal penggunaan komputer dan menjalankan urusan lain-lain.
- Pengunaan komputer oleh pelanggang di sini di kawal dengan menggunakan File Maker Pro yang mencatat jumlah masa yang digunakan, menetapkan bayaran dan kod ahli.
